Lucy Weaver Brown, 80, died March 23, 2008 at Hospice Savannah, Inc. She was born in Hilton, Georgia, daughter of the late William Thomas Weaver and Eva Greer Weaver. Mrs. Brown was a graduate of West Georgia College. She lived in Savannah 38 years, a member of Wilmington Island Presbyterian Church and a loving wife and mother.
Surviving are her husband of 57 years, Joseph E. Brown of Savannah; daughter, Cindy C. Brown of Savannah; son, Robert Joseph Brown of Savannah; two brothers, Jack Weaver of Marietta; Mose Weaver of Snellville and other relatives.
Visitation: 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 25, 2008 at Fox & Weeks Funeral Directors, Islands Chapel.
Funeral: 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, March 26, 2008 at Fox & Weeks Funeral Directors, Islands Chapel with Rev. Andy Meeker officiating, assisted by Rev. Tommy East.
Burial: Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.
